Goodyear, AZ.- A woman was killed and a child injured in a pedestrian accident in Goodyear on Thursday afternoon, according to the Goodyear Police Department.
The crash took place on Estrella Parkway and Interstate 10 at around 1 p.m. October 23.
According to police, a woman and a child were struck by a vehicle outside a walmart.
The woman was pinned by the vehicle against the wall.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene while the child was rushed to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
