Yuma, AZ – 69-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Crash on East 24th Street

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m. on Sept. 25 in the 400 block of East 24th Street.

Yuma, AZ – A 69-year-old man died after being struck by a Honda Accord while in the roadway Friday night in Yuma, according to the Yuma Police Department.

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m. on Sept. 25 in the 400 block of East 24th Street.

Police said a 51-year-old woman was driving a Honda Accord westbound when the vehicle struck the pedestrian. The man was in the roadway when the collision occurred.

The man was transported to Onvida Health, where he later died from his injuries. The driver was not injured, and no other injuries were reported.

Investigators said neither speed nor alcohol appears to have contributed to the crash.

The Yuma Police Department continues to investigate the collision.
