According to WSP, a 79-year-old man was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse southbound on northbound Highway 303 when he collided head-on with a northbound 2016 Ford Transit
Silverdale, WA.- A woman was killed in a head-on collision in Silverdale on Tuesday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 303, just east of Highway 3, at about 7:30 p.m. January 21.
According to WSP, a 79-year-old man was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse southbound on northbound Highway 303 when he collided head-on with a northbound 2016 Ford Transit.
The driver of the Ford, a 61-year-old Bremerton woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver, a 79-year-old man, was taken to St. Michael Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
The driver is facing charges of vehicular homicide.
The incident is under investigation.
