According to the report, the cement truck collided with another vehicle on the southbound side of SR 3 and the impact caused the truck to roll onto its side

Hayfork, CA – A cement truck driver was hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash involving another vehicle on Monday morning east of Hayfork, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on State Route 3 near mile marker 16 at around 10:33 a.m. July 27.
According to the report, the cement truck collided with another vehicle on the southbound side of SR 3 and the impact caused the truck to roll onto its side.
CHP and emergency crews responded to the site of the collision and located the involved parties.
The driver of the cement truck was reportedly uncoscious when emergency personnel arrived at the scene. The victim was loaded onto an ambulance and was rushed to Mercy Medical Center in Redding with major injuries.
There were no reports of any other injuries as a result of the collision.
The crash led to the closure of Highway 3 as authorities examined and cleared the scene.
The cement truck was loaded onto a tow truck and transported from the site of the accident.
An investigation to identify the factors of the crash is being conducted by the California Higwhay Patrol.
