Long Beach, CA. – A man has died nearly a month after being struck by a car in Long Beach.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident happened on the afternoon of March 30 in the area of Cedar Avenue and Anaheim Street.

Marcos Duarte-Gonzalez was walking in a crosswalk when he was struck by a car.

The man was transported to an area hospital, where he died on April 29.

The driver of the Chevrolet sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

Police are investigating the accident and say criminal charges are possible.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
