Long Beach, CA.- A woman who was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision near an intersection in Long Beach on Thursday as Seila Tes, 60, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The incident was reported at around 6:20 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, near theintersection of East Anaheim Street and Rose Avenue.
According to a report by the Long Beach Police Department, Tes was trying to walk across East Anaheim Street in an unmarked crosswalk. At the same time, a 2022 Honda Accord was traveling westbound and hit the pedestrian in the roadway.
Police and crews with the Long Beach Fire Department responded to the incident and attempted life-saving measures on Tes. She was then transported to a hospital, where she was declared dead shortly after.
The drive of the Honda remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Police reported that speed and impairment were not believed to have played a role in the collision.
