Northridge, California (November 7, 2023) – A woman was struck and killed by a Metrolink train Tuesday morning in Northridge, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

According to LAFD,  Angelita Quezada, 57, was struck by the train at around 6:54 a.m. in the 8600 block of North Lindley Avenue.

Quezada sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tracks were shut down following the accident.

No other details were given but an investigation is ongoing.
