A preliminary investigation determined that a Station Wagon was traveling northbound on N. Plumas Street when it failed to yield to the right-of-way and collided with an SUV

Willows, CA – At least three people were hospitalized after a collision on N. Plumas Street near Willows on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 12:50 p.m. February 17, authorities were called to the scene of a collision at the intersection of State Route 162.
A preliminary investigation determined that a Station Wagon was traveling northbound on N. Plumas Street when it failed to yield to the right-of-way and collided with an SUV.
The GCSO deputies and Willows Fire Department crews arrived shortly after and helped the six people involved in the accident.
After evaluation, three people were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The extent of the injuries sustained in the incident was not immediately established.
Roads were temporarily shut down for nearly one hour while authorities conducted an investigation and cleared the scene.
No additional information on the incident is available at this time. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
