Victorville, CA – Multiple people were injured, and a car was split in half during a violent collision that happened Sunday morning at an intersection near Silverado High School in Victorville.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was reported around 11 a.m. on August 9, 2026, on Palmdale Road at Cobalt Road.

A white Honda Accord, a black Dodge Charger, and a red Ford Escape were involved in the accident.

Authorities reported that the Honda and the Dodge were involved in a violent collision, causing the Honda to split in two and the Dodge to overturn about 100 feet from the intersection. The Ford was stopped at the traffic light and was also involved in the crash.

Emergency personnel responded and requested multiple ambulances. Several people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities closed westbound Palmdale Road at Amethyst Road while conducting an investigation.
