The pedestrian was transporting his property using two wheelchairs when he was struck by a white 2008 Cadillac CTS.
The driver pulled into a nearby parking lot after the collision and returned to the scene.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the man to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
