A Phelan man driving the Mustang sustained major injuries and was transported to Providence Saint Mary Medical Center before being airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Victorville, CA. – Three people were hospitalized after being injured in a collision early Wednesday morning in Victorville.
According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 3:54 a.m. on Bear Valley Road, east of Balsam Avenue.
A Hesperia man was driving a tractor-trailer westbound when he collided with a white Ford Mustang that was traveling eastbound. The Mustang sustained major damage in the crash. The roof was also sheared away, leaving the passenger compartment heavily damaged.

A front-seat passenger, an Apple Valley man, also sustained serious injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Medical Center before being airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
A female rear-seat passenger from Pinon Hills was transported to Providence Saint Mary Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer remained at the scene and fully cooperated with investigators.
Bear Valley Road was closed between Cypress Avenue and Balsam Avenue for several hours as authorities cleared the scene
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
