Phoenix, AZ – A passenger died, and two drivers were hospitalized after two vehicles collided Thursday night near an intersection in Phoenix.

The accident involved a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Nissan Juke.
According to investigators, the Mitsubishi was traveling eastbound on Bell Road when the driver attempted to turn into a private drive, and the car was hit on the passenger side by the Nissan, which was heading westbound on Bell.
The man seated in the passenger seat was extricated and hospitalized in extremely critical condition. The victim later died from his injuries.
Both drivers were also hospitalized in unknown condition. They were evaluated by detectives but did not show any sign of intoxication.
The crash is under investigation.

Phoenix, AZ – Three people were injured, one critically, following a crash that happened at an intersection in north Phoenix on Thursday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The incident took place in the area of 7th Street and Bell Road at around 11 p.m. on July 16.
According to the investigators, a car was traveling westbound on Bell Road when, for unknown reasons, it collided with a vehicle that was making its way out of a driveway.
Police and the Phoenix Fire Department immediately responded to the scene after receiving reports of the accident.
A man was extricated from one of the vehicles by the responding firefighters. The man was then rushed to a hospital and was listed in critical condition.
Two other involved parties had non-life-threatening injuries and were also taken to the hospital.
The accident led to a temporary closure of 7th Street and Bell Road as authorities investigated the incident.
The Phoenix Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident.
