Jennifer Lang and 50-Year-Old Stanwood Woman ID'd as Female Drivers Killed in Head-On Accident on Highway 2 in Snohomish

Snohomish, WA. – The Washington State Patrol has released the name of one of the women killed in a head-on crash in Snohomish in late December.
Jennifer L. Lang, 50, of Monroe, and a 50-year-old Stanwood woman were involved in a grisly wreck that occurred at around 6:38 a.m. December 30, 2024, on Highway 2 near State Route 9.
The two vehicles operated by the victims collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Lang and the second female driver, whose name has not been released died at the scene.
The highway was shut down in both directions between state Route 9 and 88th Street Southeast for nearly five hours, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The police are investigating the cause of the collision.
