Tucson, AZ – The Pima County Sheriff's Department has identified 11-year-old Emily Ramirez as a girl on a scooter killed in a crash near Irvington in Tucson last week Friday afternoon.
According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Ramirez was involved in a crash near W Irvington Road and Camino De Oeste at around 1:30 p.m. January 3.
Ramirez was riding a scooter when she was hit by a pickup truck.
Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
