The mishap happened just before 8 a.m. February 3 at Val Vista Drive and Southern Avenue.

Mesa, AZ – The Mesa Police Department has identified two more victims killed in a traffic collision at an intersection in Mesa Monday morning as 29-year-old Damarya Zyberi and 8-year-old girl, Elsie Garlock.
The mishap happened just before 8 a.m. February 3 at Val Vista Drive and Southern Avenue.
A preliminary investigation revealed a Ford F-250 that was stolen in Gilbert was heading northbound on Val Vista Drive when it collided head-on with a Nissan Armada. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash.
The driver of the Ford truck, Zyberi, and 42-year-old Troy Garlock who was driving the Nissan, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two children, ages 8 and 6, were riding in the backseat of the Nissan.
They were taken to a hospital where the 8-year-old girl, Elsie Garlock, died. The 6-year-old girl remains hospitalized.
The driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
