Somis, CA. – One person was airlifted to the hospital after being injured in a crash on Sunday afternoon in Somis.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3 p.m. on State Route 118, also known as Los Angeles Avenue, at La Vista Avenue.
Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene and found a vehicle in a ditch near Mesa Union School.
The male driver of the car was trapped in the car and had to be extricated before being flown to Ventura County Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The patient was reported to be in stable condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
