The San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a report of a traffic collision on  Sanderson Avenue, south of Ramona Boulevard shortly after 6:45 a.m. February 19.

San Jacinto, CA – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified a victim killed in a Wednesday morning crash in San Jacinto as 36-year-old Travis Maze.

The San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a report of a traffic collision on  Sanderson Avenue, south of Ramona Boulevard shortly after 6:45 a.m. February 19.

The police said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. The circumstances surrounding the mishap were not immediately established.

Travis was declared dead at the scene.

The other drivers were transported to a hospital in the area with moderate injuries.

Sanderson Avenue was temporarily closed between Cottonwood Avenue and Ramona Boulevard following the crash.

No further information regarding the accident was available.

An investigation is underway.
