Sutter County, CA – A man died, and a woman and an infant were hospitalized after a wrong-way collision that happened Tuesday night in Pleasant Grove.

Emergency crews responded to the area after receiving reports of a car traveling in the wrong direction.
According to authorities, a white Volkswagen Tiguan was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided head-on with a red Toyota Corolla heading southbound.
The adult male driving the Corolla was pronounced dead at the scene.
The adult female driver of the Tiguan sustained major injuries. A baby, approximately 1-year-old, in the Tiguan, was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
