Moorpark, CA.- A Ventura County Sheriff's deputy was injured in a motorcycle collision in Moorpark on Wednesday morning, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened on Los Angeles Avenue and Millard Street at about 8:43 a.m.
According to the report, the deputy was riding a patrol motorcycle when they were involved in a crash with another vehicle, suspected to be a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The deputy was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The westbound lanes of Los Angeles Avenue were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
