Long Beach, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Tuesday morning in Long Beach.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident happened around 4 a.m. at Cherry Avenue and Curry Street.
Shalanda Young, 36, of Long Beach, was walking in the area and was struck by a car.
Long Beach Fire Department paramedics found the woman unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
