Portland, OR.- The bicyclist who was killed in a collision in Southwest Portland on Tuesday evening has been identified as Rutilo Moreno Jorge, 68, according to a report by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. November 11, on Highway 43 south of Sellwood Bridge.
Authorities said Jorge may have struck a rock while riding a bicycle southbound on Highway 43.
He fell onto the roadway and was hit by an SUV.
Jorge died at the scene of the crash.
The driver remained at the scene after the accident.
The southbound lanes of Highway 43 were shut down as authorities investigated the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
