Sky Valley, CA – The Riverside Sheriff's Office has released the name of a motorcyclist who was killed in a major crash on Dillon Road in Sky Valley on Tuesday afternoon.
The County-Coroner identified the victim as Ruben Delgado, a 33-year-old man from Desert Hot Springs.
Investigators said Delgado was riding a motorcycle that collided head-on with a trash truck on Dillon Road, just west of Prospect Road at about 1:50 p.m. on August 28. He was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries at about 2:35 p.m. the same day.
