Tulare County, CA.- A bicycle rider was struck and killed by a vehicle in Tulare County early Friday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 190, west of Road 284 at about 4:50 a.m. March 21.
According to the report, a bicyclist was traveling on Highway 190 when the rider drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The victim, a 54-year-old Springville resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a 31-year-old man, was not injured.
The accident is under investigation.
