According to California Highway Patrol, Craig was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed north on Long Beach Boulevard whe he crashed into the rear of a 2018 Jeep Cherokee

Long Beach, CA.- The man who was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Long Beach on Saturday night has been identified as Regionald Craig, 61, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
The wreck was reported just before 7 p.m. November 22, on Long Beach Boulevard and East San Antonio Drive.
According to California Highway Patrol, Craig was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed north on Long Beach Boulevard whe he crashed into the rear of a 2018 Jeep Cherokee.
The Jeep then drifted into the sidewalk, struck a fire hydrant, and crashed into a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban in a parking lot.
Craig was declared deceased at the scene.
The drivers of the other vehicles remained at the scene after the crash.
Authorities said speed and impairment may have played a role in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
