Prescott Valley, AZ – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Monday in Prescott Valley, according to a report by the Prescott Valley Police Department.

Preliminary reports indicate that a pedestrian was attempting to walk across the street when they were hit by a car. Authorities reported that the pedestrian did not have the right of way.
Firefighters and medical crews arrived shortly after and attended to the pedestrian.
Despite efforts by the medics, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was cooperative with law enforcement. The driver was not suspected to have been speeding or impaired.
