Investigators reported that four vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of I-80 and one of them rolled over multiple times.

Placer County, CA – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 in Placer County on Saturday, according to the authorities.
The incident took place near Interstate 80 and Foresthill Road on Saturday, April 25.
Investigators reported that four vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of I-80 and one of them rolled over multiple times. The circumstances under which the vehicles crashed were still being investigated.
Crews with the Placer County Fire Department and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection arrived at the scene shortly after and attended to the involved parties.
Medics transported two patients to a hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries. The identities of the injured parties were not immediately released.
It’s unclear whether speed or impairment played any role in the incident. There were no reports of any arrests in connection with the crash.
