Phoenix, AZ – Two men were injured in a crash early this morning involving a DPS trooper on the 10 Freeway in West Phoenix.
The traffic collision occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on the overpass of Interstate 10 and 83rd Avenue, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Reportedly, a DPS Camaro and an SUV were involved in the accident. The impact sent the SUV several feet away in the gravel.
At least two men were hospitalized, but their conditions are unknown at this time. It is also unclear if the Department of Public Safety trooper was injured in the collision.
Northbound 83rd Avenue was briefly closed during the on-site investigation.
