Seattle, WA.- A person was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash in South Seattle on Friday night, according to a report by the Seattle police.
Authorities responded at around 10:45 p.m. October 10, to the accident in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and Rainier Avenue South.
A man was lying in the roadway, for unknown reasons, when he was hit by a car traveling south on MLK.
The Seattle Fire Department crews performed CPR on the victim but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected to have been impaired.
The Seattle police are conducting an investigation into the collision.
