Scottsdale, Ariz. – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon on Loop 101 in Scottsdale, according to authorities.
The incident happened at around 1:18 p.m. on the westbound Loop 101 near East Princess Drive.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the pedestrian was crossing the streets when for unknown reasons they were struck by a vehicle.
The victim sustained severe injuries in the wreck.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
More information about the wreck was not provided.
