A driver reportedly fled the area after striking a woman walking in the intersection
Portland, OR.- A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Bridgeton neighborhood on Wednesday night, according to a report by the Portland Police Bureau.
At around 10:40 p.m. September 24, an auto-pedestrian crash happened on North Marine Drive.
A driver reportedly fled the area after striking a woman walking in the intersection.
The woman was found down in the street and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The woman's identity and further details on the incident were not released.
The Portland Police Bureau is investigating the hit-and-run accident.
