Tucson, AZ– A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Tucson on Friday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The incident took place near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road on Friday, October 24.
A man was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle believed to be a Jeep Cherokee.
The involved driver briefly stopped and exited the vehicle, then got back in and left the scene.
The victim died of his injuries at the scene.
The suspect is believed to be a woman in her 40s.
The Phoenix Police Department is searching for the hit-and-run driver.
