Glendale, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle near Glendale on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place at about 7:55 p.m. August 16, on Ocean View Boulevard and Mira Vista Avenue.
The CHP reported that the man was struck by a gold Mercury SUV in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene after the accident.
