Phoenix, AZ.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Phoenix on Wednesday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The incident happened in the area of 43rd Avenue and Osborn Road on May 14.
According to the report, a man was attempting to walk across the street outside of a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver stayed at the scene after the crash.
Impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
