Ventura County, CA. — A woman in her 20s suffered serious injuries Thursday evening after being struck by a vehicle in the Oak Park area, authorities said.
The collision happened around 5:25 p.m. on Lakeview Canyon Road near Lindero Canyon Road, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
The woman was walking in the roadway when she was hit by a car.
Emergency crews treated the pedestrian at the scene before transporting her to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, where she remained in serious condition.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated.
