Santa Rosa Valley, CA. — Authorities identified the 82-year-old woman killed in a crash on Nov. 6 in Santa Rosa as Masako Sakane of Thousand Oaks, the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office reported.
The California Highway Patrol said officers responded shortly after 11 p.m. to reports of a body found on Santa Rosa Road just east of Brittany Park Road.
Paramedics found Sakane unresponsive and transported her to Los Robles Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Sakane was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident.
Authorities are seeking the driver involved.
CHP officers urge the suspect to come forward and contact the Moorpark Area office.
Sakane's death was as a result of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the medical examiner.

Santa Rosa Valley, CA.- An elderly pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Santa Rosa Valley on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place on Santa Rosa Road, east of Brittany Park Road just after 11 p.m. November 6.
An 82-year-old Santa Rosa Valley woman was hit by a vehicle and the involved driver failed to stop and render aid to the victim.
Authorities found the victim lying on the side of the road.
The victim was rushed to Los Robles Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The search for the hit-and-run motorist is ongoing.
