Lancaster, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Lancaster on Monday evening, according to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
The incident took place on Sierra Highway near Lancaster Boulevard at about 5:45 p.m. January 14.
According to the deputies, a blue sedan traveling northbound on Sierra Highway hit a pedestrian who was trying to walk across the Highway.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
