Santa Ana, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Santa Ana on Sunday night, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The crash happened on Edinger and Grand avenues at about 9:55 p.m. August 31.
The Santa Ana police reported that a woman was walking west across Edinger Avenue when she was hit by a northbound vehicle.
The woman was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected to have been impaired.
The Santa Ana Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
