Kelso, WA. – The Kelso Police Department is investigating an incident where a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday evening in Kelso.
The crash was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m. on South Kelso Drive near Alma Drive.
A 47-year-old man was hit by a vehicle driven by Larry Hole, 45.
The victim died of his injuries at the site of the accident.
Hole remained at the scene and was cooperative with the investigators.
He was arrested shortly after and booked into the Cowlitz County Jail on suspicion of DUI, vehicular homicide, and being in possession of a controlled substance.
The investigation is ongoing.
