The accident occurred just before 10 p.m. on southbound Highway 73, just north of MacArthur Boulevard.
A male pedestrian reportedly ran into traffic lanes and got hit by a gray Mercedes van driven by a female party.
The pedestrian died in the accident.
Multiple lanes on Highway 73, the MacArthur Boulevard on-ramp to southbound Highway 73, and the Jamboree Road on-ramp to southbound Highway 73 were shut down following the crash.
