According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup took place around 1:15 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just north of the Los Feliz Boulevard on-ramp.
Los Angeles, CA. – One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon on a freeway in Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup took place around 1:15 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just north of the Los Feliz Boulevard on-ramp.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash. A silver Honda CR-V was left blocking the middle lanes after the collision.
Los Angeles County deputies and Los Angeles firefighters responded to the scene.
A female occupant in the Honda was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
