Multi vehicles collided around 6:48 a.m. on southbound Interstate 680 near Stone Valley Road.
Contra Costa, CA. – One person was hospitalized after two crashes that happened Friday morning in Alamo, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Multi vehicles collided around 6:48 a.m. on southbound Interstate 680 near Stone Valley Road.
Police officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene and found a white Ford F-150, a white Lexus SUV, a black Buick, a brown Honda Accord, and a gray Hyundai at the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicles were involved in two separate collisions – a two-vehicle crash and a three-car collision. It was unclear of the crashes were related.
Both collisions resulted in minor injuries. One person was transported to John Muir Health Walnut Creek Medical Center for treatment.
CHP officers are investigating the crashes.
