Goleta, CA. – One person was seriously injured Sunday night following a crash involving an AMR ambulance in Goleta, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The collision occurred shortly before 6:45 p.m. on Hollister Avenue, west of Pacific Oaks Road, authorities reported.
The driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle suffered major injuries and was transported by another ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The AMR ambulance personnel were not injured in the incident.
Westbound Hollister Avenue was temporarily closed while crews cleared the area and authorities conducted an investigation into the cause of the crash.
