Venice, CA.- Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run motorist who fled after striking a pedestrian in the Venice area on September 20, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident took place on Washington and Lincoln boulevards at around 2 a.m.
According to LAPD, Neo Moroke, 23, was walking across the intersection in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a blue SUV.
The SUV driver fled the scene after the accident.
Moroke was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The LAPD is searching for the hit-and-run driver.
