According to the Lemon Grove Police, the accident happened at around 11:17 p.m. January 1 in the 7600 block of Broadway.
Lemon Grove, CA – Nadia Charles and Joseph Junior Saint Juste, ages 20, both from Lemon Grove have been identified by the coroner's office as pedestrians struck after a vehicle collision in Lemon Grove late last week Wednesday night.
According to the Lemon Grove Police, the accident happened at around 11:17 p.m. January 1 in the 7600 block of Broadway.
Reports revealed an Acura sedan traveling eastbound on Broadway collided with a southbound Toyota sedan on Buena Vista Avenue within the intersection causing the Acura to strike Nadia and Juste, who were standing on the sidewalk at the southeast corner of the intersection.
Both victims were transported to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
