The crash occurred around 10:57 a.m. on eastbound SR-60, just west of Rubidoux Boulevard, and involved a motorcycle and a semi-truck

Riverside, CA – One person suffered major injuries after a motorcycle and semi-truck were involved in a collision on State Route 60 late Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 10:57 a.m. on eastbound SR-60, just west of Rubidoux Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a semi-truck and a motorcycle collided, leaving the rider down in the No. 4 lane but responsive.
Authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist was transported to Riverside Community Hospital with possible major injuries. No additional injuries or arrests were noted.
The crash blocked the slow lane and brought traffic to a stop across multiple lanes before first responders arrived.
The cause of the motorcycle–semi collision remains under investigation, though initial reports suggest the impact occurred in the far-right lanes where traffic was heavy.
Fire personnel, paramedics, and CHP officers responded to the scene, providing aid and coordinating towing services.
The collision caused significant lane closures, with all lanes briefly stopped before the HOV and No. 1 lanes were reopened. The No. 3 lane remained closed longer while crews cleared debris and removed the vehicles.
The incident is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
