Long Beach, CA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that took place in Long Beach on Saturday night, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The accident took place on 11th Street and Redondo Avenue at about 9:01 p.m. August 30.
According to police, a 37-year-old man was riding a 2010 KTM motorcycle southboubd on Redondo Avenue when he collided with a 2006 Toyota Sequoia heading east on 11th Street.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as Frank Andrade Jr., 33, of Long Beach, was arrested on charges of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
The Long Beach Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
