Moreno Valley, CA – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that took place in Moreno Valley on Wednesday morning, according to the authorities.
Shortly after 11 a.m. February 25, authorities received calls of a crash in the area of Campus Parkway and Day Street.
According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, at least three vehicles were involved in the accident just south of the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway. The circumstances under which the vehicles crashed were not immediately established.
Deputies and the Cal Fire/ Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived shortly after and attended to the involved individuals.
Two of the drivers were transported to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
The third driver declined medical transport. The identities of the involved motorists were not immediately available.
The intersection was partially blocked for nearly two hours while crews attended to patients and firefighters removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Further information on the incident were not immediately released. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating to find out what caused the crash.
