Goodyear, AZ – The police have identified the woman who was struck and killed outside Walmart in Goodyear on Thursday afternoon.
The police identified the deceased woman as Michelle Perez, 41.
The crash happened at around 1:00 p.m. on October 23 on Estrella Park off Interstate 10.
According to investigators, Perez, her 3-year-old daughter, and another family member were heading into the Walmart on Estrella Parkway, off Interstate 10, when they were struck by an SUV.
Police said the bystanders administered CPR on Perez, but she died at the scene.
The child was rushed to a hospital as a precaution, while the other family member was not hurt.
The driver of the vehicle, a 51-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Authorities said there was no indication that impairment was a factor in the accident.

Goodyear, AZ – A woman was killed and a child injured in a pedestrian accident in Goodyear on Thursday afternoon, according to the Goodyear Police Department.
The crash took place on Estrella Parkway and Interstate 10 at around 1 p.m. October 23.
According to police, a woman and a child were struck by a vehicle outside a Walmart.
The woman was pinned by the vehicle against the wall.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The child was rushed to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
