According to investigators, Thomas E. Teffeteller, 71, of Centralia, was riding a 2002 Honda motorcycle northbound on SR 507 when he crashed into the rear of a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro

McKenna, WA – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle near McKenna in Pierce County on Friday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident was reported at around 5:10 p.m. on July 24, on State Route 507.
According to investigators, Thomas E. Teffeteller, 71, of Centralia, was riding a 2002 Honda motorcycle northbound on SR 507 when he crashed into the rear of a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro. The Chevrolet then slammed into the back of a 2015 Hyundai Sonata.
WSP reported that Teffeteller was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was transported to MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the Camaro, Theron J. Perry, 56, of Eatonville, and the driver of the Hyundai, Mykhailo Manoryk, 25, of Los Angeles, California, were not hurt in the incident. The two were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
According to the WSP, speed was believed to have played a role in the accident and Teffeteller was cited.
The accident is under investigation by the WSP.
