Police said Matthew Atangan, 24, of San Jose, was riding a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja eastbound on Ocala Avenue when he collided with a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica that was making a left turn from Ridgemont Drive
San Jose, CA.– A man was killed in an early Saturday morning crash involving a motorcycle in San Jose.
According to a report by the San Jose Police Department, the accident was reported at around 12:19 a.m. September 20, on Ocala Avenue and Ridgemont Drive.
Police said Matthew Atangan, 24, of San Jose, was riding a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja eastbound on Ocala Avenue when he collided with a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica that was making a left turn from Ridgemont Drive.
Atangan was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the car was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The San Jose Police Department is investigating the accident.
